The Library Learning Commons utilizes the Library of Congress Classification System. This system allows for similar topics to be located near one another for easy browsing.
For example, you can find books on paintings in the ND section.
 

  1. Explore the Library of Congress Classification outline by clicking on the general subject area of your topic. From there you can then select other sub-topics within the discipline that most closely relate to your research topic.
  2. Use these call numbers to browse books in that section.
