The Boston Public Library (BPL) offers many online resources including ebooks, audiobooks, newspapers, journals and streaming media all you need is a BPL ecard. If you live, work, or go to school in Massachusetts you can apply for one.
Note: If you have a regular BPL card, you already have access to all the content accessible with the ecard and do not need to register for a separate card.
- Go to the Boston Public Library ecard application page.
- Fill out the eligibility questions and your personal information.
- Write down your BPL ecard number and pin and keep in a safe place.
